vintagerpm
Try glass bottles of paint in a padded eenvelope. No, they did not survive. Mike
Mark
Between two pieces of corrugated cardboard (four is better; two on each side with the corrugation alternated from one piece to another). Not much more expensive either...

Not much more expensive either... Probably far cheaper than replacing product and having to mail it twice. Like the instructions given to me by my dad is a kid. If you don't have time to do it right you must have time to do it twice.
Jordan White
It doesn't look unusable from the picture, can you place it between two books to flatten it out somewhat?

Good to know, I’ve never worked with photo etched parts so I guess I’m not in tune with their fine intricacies! ?

Plus you bought it new and have expectations of such. Should not have to try and fix. That's how I look at it.

Brian Austin
I'd try running the PE sheet over the edge of a table, carefully back and forth in two different directions, like straightening curled paper or cardboard. Probably won't come out like new, but you might increase your area of workable material.
Bugatti Fan
The photo of the PE sheet may be deceptive and appear to just be gently curved. But if it has any kinks or indents in it then it would be rendered useless.
gman
If you have to use photo etch in small pieces and need to get it to take a certain shape (and hold it), annealing it in a flame will help. Polishing the annealed metal will bring back it's sheen.
