Many years ago, I was able to purchase a collection of models from a man in Rosebud Missouri. He had quit modeling in 1962. In that collection was a few pick ups, a built 60 Ford, a built 61 Ford, an unbuilt 60 Chevy, and a started 62 Ford. 
I can’t bring myself to redo the built trucks, so there in the display case, but I’ve been working off and on, on the 62. I go back and forth on a stock service truck for my hopeful one day Texaco station, and a day 2 driver. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. 
Here’s where I am now. I repaired holes in the cowl, and repaired the sink marks. I wanted a different color for this truck other than the standard white, red, that so many trucks are. I went with gray..

You are one lucky dude to get your hands on one this clean.  My thoughts would be to go street with it, but only mildly.  A nice set of tires, nothing larger than 18's; just a slight drop, nothing radical, and some form of signage on the door to help break up the gray.  Keep those updates coming.

This is a very nice body style!   I love this era of pickup trucks and it will look great no matter which direction you take!   That gray paint looks very glossy!

Sorry Roger, I have to ask, is it another '72 Duster waiting patiently in the background or a photo taken at the start of the construction of the California Flash you just completed?

That was the California Flash, I work three projects at a time now, it helps when things need to dry or set up. I can keep working on something with out rushing and screwing something up.

Your looks like a 63 from the chrome trim on the side.  I have a 63 front bumper and grill your welcome to it, just PM me. It you watch EBay parts pop up on these mostly  reasonably priced. The glass from a 61 thru 63 are the same, and clear custom tail lights are mounted in the center.

Thank you Roger, I ordered a grille from Rookie Resins, but I'm making it a custom anyway, still don't have glass though, and to be honest, haven't worked on it for a few weeks now, and I removed the chrome, the custom tailgate would not come off so it's going to be a custom for sure!

If you're using F-250 hood emblems, won't you need to use eight lug wheels?

Slow progress is still progress. I want to give a big thank you to Plowboy, Roger Hayes for a set of exhaust manifolds. He stepped up and helped my stalled build move forward again, the motor is finished, and the body is polished. I fixed the scratched and dull kit glass, and most of the interior is painted.

You're welcome Roger! Glad I could help! Those wheels and tires are on their way also. 

Too late. But, if you don't like the three two carb and intake setup, you can can find single carb and intake setups in the AMT 56 and 57 Fairlanes and Thunderbirds. Personally, I like them. I actually used an AMT '57 Thunderbird block, heads and transmission with the three two intake and carbs from the kit with headers from the '56 in my '61 F-100.
