I have one of the 428CJ versions and the terrible Boss 429 street machine, which is the body in my pics. It appears to be the last version using the original issue XR-7 body and interior, so I snagged it. I hope to combine them and make a 428CJ XR-7, kind of a tribute build of the one my parents' friend owned in 1969. Oddly, the XR-7 kit's dash doesn't have the passenger side clock that it should have, but the 428CJ kit does. Interesting how many iterations this kit has seen since 1969. sfhess
Nice work on that Cougar! And yes, so many variations. I have a 1:1 69 XR 7 and am a member of a local Cougar club. Hard to imagine all the variations in the full-size cars.
