Disagree. The JS and MP audiences would be bored silly by anything on History Channel. And vice versa.

My point wasn't that the audiences share similar viewing tastes. It's that both types of shows just fill timeslots regardless of the quality of the content.

It sure seems like HC is filling a lot of time with American Pickers this year.

The Lovely Mrs. Snake will watch Antiques Roadshow for hours on end, but won't watch Pickers or Pawn Stars, which are both essentially the same thing.

I find it amazing that Deadliest Catch is still on the air. I've only seen a few episodes, but they were all basically exactly the same thing. And that goes double for Wicked Tuna (on NatGeo). If you've seen one, you've seen every episode ever.

Stupidest show I've seen in years is Dodgeball Thunderdome. The first episode was kinda fun/interesting, but I can't imagine wanting to see any more of it.

I am really missing Battlebots and No Prep Kings this year. :(

The only "reality" television that I watch occasionally is "COPS", or "The First 48".

That's about all that there is that's actually "real".

The ones that really bug me are those stupid talent shows, like "American Idol", "The Voice" and "Dancing with the Stars"!

Biggest waste of airtime ever!

I'd rather watch Viagra commercials!! ?

Steve

I really enjoy America's Got Talent and The Voice. I quit watching American Idol when the last of the original judges left.

She's not alone.  I was looking over a TV website once, and somebody asked, "What is 'Pawn Stars' like?"  The response made me nearly fall out my chair:  "It's sort of like 'Antiques Roadshow' on PBS.  But with a lot of fat, loud a##holes."

The centuries old engineering ,the construction, and history is why I watch Oak Island. My question is: How the people who hid the treasure would ever recover it ?

They built the boobytrap and other systems, so they would have known how to get back in.
