Testors paint identification

I love Testors paint, but when there stored in my tool cabinet, it's impossible to see what colours are where, so I spent a little time putting a small blob of paint on each lid, problem solved....

I've been doing that for 20 or 30 years. 

If I'm airbrushing the color, I'll airbrush the whole top of the cap the color.

I do that too, it's definitely easier then sifting though the bottles to figure out whats what....

Just did the same thing except I used a round white sticker label on the lid first. Some of the darker colors kinda disappear against the black lid. Also added the paint ID number as well.

Yep! I have a couple of sheets of the white dot stickers.

Not just for Testors - I've been doing something like that for years.

Of course with Humbrol or Tamiya there is no need to do that.

Pactra used to also show the paints color and its name on the caps.

I use color dot stickers as well - yellow for acrylics, blue for enamels. White or orange for metallizers and detail washes. Since a majority of them are military colors, I label each dot the color name along with the FS number (Federal Standard number).
