oldscool
I got an AMT Buick Wildcat for my birthday when I was a kid and can,t remember what year car the model represented. It was mid sixties and came with the big panel decals that covered the roof , hood etc. Can anybody help me out. I would like to track one down and do a nostalgia build. It wasn't one of the Flower Power series because I remember it having the usual 3n1 type box art. The reissue of that kit is what got me thinking about it. After looking on Scalemates it may have been the 69 but the versions they show don't have the right decals. keyser
70 iirc was motor city/unassembled promo ala the Model King reissue so no decals. 67-68 not kitted. My 69 has those decals. Some 69’s had lace decals, 69 Riv and Mach 1 for sure. No lace in the 69 Wildcat.

keyser
69 Riv Annual had vinyl roof too. Wiped by countdown series. 69 Mustang lace decals and custom rear taillights were cool The 69 Wildcat custom bits were neat too. Good old days. lordairgtar
I had the 69 Wildcat kit. It had a spider web style decal panel that was similar to an SS stripe set up. It wasn't the promo style 70 LeSabre.
Mark
I had a '69 Wildcat kit in the mid-Seventies, and have another one bought on eBay in the last twenty years or so. Both kits had/have the sheet pictured in this thread, the one with the black panels.
