I built the same kit years ago,but the chassis showing in the rear bugged me,good to see what you did to fix it.i'll do the same to mine.

Beautifully done restoration! I love how the pre-restoration model also kinda looks like a typical barn find cars!

Beautiful job, Mike!  I had a '65 squareback that was that very color that you made.  I learned how to drive in that car (that was only two years younger than me).  Your replica is perfect!

Great save Mike, your Galaxie looks top-notch!

I was happy to score the "AMT-Frog" release of this kit (unbuilt and complete) on Ebay - at only around twice the price of a regular Revell kit. AFAIK this kit was a re-release of the original AMT kit for the European, mainly British, market somewhere in the first half of the 70's. It seems to be widely unknown, as before adding it to my stash on Scalemates.com, first I had to enter the kit to the database...
