Beautiful convertible!,did you modify the suspension!,it seems to sit lower.

Thanks! No mods but a lot of dry fitting to get the stance right.

Excellent finish. What black paint and clear did you use?

Thank you! I used jet black and 2K clear from Zero Paints.

Thanks, when I see builds with this level of finish quality, I always wonder what quality materials the builder started with, but knowing full well that it takes skill to put them to use. You’ve got great finishing skill and talent, that’s apparent. I’ve seen great results from Zero Paints, I may have to check them out more.

Hi Anders,

you did a great job in every department! The luggage rack always looks good on a C3 vonvertible... A real "Black Beauty"!

Nice looking build. I like the black paint job. It shows off the curves very well.

WOW!  Nice build Anders!  I have the same kit and a friend from my model club gave me an AMT 454 Corvette hood that I have extended about 1/8 inch to make it fit better.  I never cared for the huge cowl hood that Chevrolet had on these 'Vettes.

I have that kit as well.  This AMT hood was given to me after a discussion with Barry Fadden of my model club.  I got up and went to the bathroom and when I came back, the hood was sitting on the table and Barry said he didn't need it.
