Looks great. With all of the stuff I've heard about Palmer kits and then seeing this makes me wonder why everyone is so down on them. Maybe it's the effort you put into this one.

Because this is about the only realistic mold they made. The rest of them are really junk.

Because this is what you would normally get.

Yes, this is "supposed to be" a '63 Chevy!!

Now this is a good example of why they're no longer around. Looks like a kit of a childes pedal car. Just my opinion .

That '63 Chevy reminds me of the tin toy friction cars I had as a kid. They were more like a representation of the car, you could quite easily tell what it was based on but were nowhere near accurate.

Yes - the multi-piece body ones were just awful.

This, the Boss 302, the Challenger and the never released 40 Ford coupe (by Palmer, anyway).

They were the best they got. After that, they went right back to junk!

So it's possible, then, that these molds ended up as the Lindberg '70 Corvette model? (Dunno if I've ever seen one, or if I did, the last time.)

Yes they did and yes they are.

Lindberg first released them in those hideous red stripe boxes in the early 90s. Others have compared the molds, and they are indeed the Palmer tools.

I just wish the Mustang was still a 70, I want to work on that one sooo bad!

I know it wasn't perfect, but I think I could improve it!

Never had the Lindberg/Palmer 1/25th Camaro or Mustang, but do have the '72 Challenger...it wasn't half bad...

Never seen or heard of a the Palmer 1/25th Camaro ?

I have the '72 Challenger also..a good start for a 1972-74 Challenger. Looks like it was ripped off from MPC.

Palmer became Winneco and had a battle with the IRS over payroll taxes.
