TransAmMike
I guess i'm impressed with how straight you got the stripes, good job for sure. Thats why I asked if they were decals thinking maybe it was tape.

Quiet Eric
Here’s a pretty good shot of what the paint looks like. The roof is the worst but it’s kinda all over. I think the next you see this one will be under glass
charlie8575
Came out very nicely. When I've been hitting paint problems of late, I find myself putting "antique" plates on my car and say it's modeled as a preserved original. carl63_99
Build for yourself, build to enjoy. And remember, those guys showing off their super-perfect builds, they ain't showing their marginal stuff or their fails.
mrm
I love it. Really clean build and the colors work very well. It definitely needs the black trim around the windows tho.
Quiet Eric
This junk is done. Didn't put too much effort into detail painting or any into chassis weathering. Will take and post some more "flatering" finished pictures soon. Really pleased with everything except of course the paint. Not a bad kit. 1930fordpickup
Looks ok from here Eric. I like you color and wheels choice. To bad the clear didn't work as well.
Mattilacken
Looks cool! Wheels really suits it well! Didn’t GM have paint problems in the ‘80’s? ? good work, sucks about the clear but BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH happens. Hahah!! Could not resist to edit and put in a laugh since my comment got censored ? Haha, yeah that is going to be my excuse...it's an accurate representation after 1984 GM paint after just a couple years!
the other Mike S.
I remember looking at those things when they were brand new on the dealer lot and the silver paint was dull even then. So, within a few years, I could see it looking exactly like the paint on the model. Very realistic!
mrm
The BMF trim was a game changer on this model. I really like it. Silver in general is tricky to make look "wet". It just absorbs light and hides reflections. I think the model came out great.
