426 pack
I’m building a 1969 pro modeler dodge Daytona with two 426 HEMI’s put together as a 852ci V16 backed up by a 4speed and Dana 60. It will be biult as a land speed/dodge prototype mythical monster that could probably make close to 1000hp and 1000ft/lbs of torque (my hp-torque figures are only mythic and my not be correct) Edited October 28, 2020 by 426 pack
dwc43
Yep, your hp figures are a little off. A Stock 10.25 compression ratio 426 Hemi makes around 511 to 528 horse, not 426 as advertised. A NASCAR or drag race, race Hemi at 12.5 to 1 cr made almost 700 hp. Roughly 685 or so. So for sake with modern times it makes only 700. A pair would be 1400. Supercharge em and make 2k. lol
slusher
Nice start!
AmericanMuscleFan
That's a massive engine sir! Lots of spark plugs to check and adjust but they will be easily accessible luckily! It has a HEMI... no, 2 HEMIs, how could I not love it?
Vietnam Vet67
You could have used Chrysler's first Hemi..........Inverted V-16, 2200 cubic inches, 2500 HP WW2 aircraft engine installed in a P-47 for testing purposes. War ended before going into production.
