'68 to '75 Impala/Caprice chorus line

Recommended Posts

Just for fun.

The '69 is resin and the '70 is AMT. The rest are MPC.

Not shown in these pics are my white '74 hardtop and green and magenta '76s.

Great lineup!  I've always had a soft spot for Impalas, built all the kits I could find from '59 to '70 (no '68 or '69).

Great looking collection of Impalas. I would like to see more of the El Camino conversion one.

Nice collection. I have been trying to acquire every year from 58 to 70. Still missing the 68 and 69 (rare and expensive). Way cool El Camino conversion BTW.

Vic's resins has both for about 50 bucks a piece but without chrome plating.

IIRC, that's what my resin '69 is but I got it about 12 or 15 years ago.

Thankyou for the additional pictures. This looks really well done. Did you use the inside bed of an El Camino ?? I also enjoyed looking at your other photos. I like your varied build styles.

Yes, I had the remains of an AMT '68 Elky left over from another project and used the bed in this.

When I saw it I thought you used the pickup conversion parts from the 70 Pontiac convertible. I actually have all the parts in one box for that one!  Someday!
