Bills72sj Posted December 20, 2020 Has anyone ever seen any kit wheels that look like this? Looking for a proposed 70's van build.
AZPartsLocators Posted December 20, 2020 The real ones are pretty dang rare so they may have never made it into a kit. I would be interested to know as well though
mikemodeler Posted December 20, 2020 Never seen them in a kit, might be something for the 3D printers to tool up.

Robyn Posted December 25, 2020 When I was a kid my parents bought a brown "Sandbox" Custom (had customized interior and striping similar to vans of the error) Ford F150 4x4 that had a set of those wheels that were about 9 or 10 inches wide - if you hit a crack running the same direction of the road you could not get it out of the crack so my dad traded them in for a set of factory steel wheels! I have a picture of it somewhere if I can find it I will post it. Wish I could get the truck back, my brother has it and it is sitting in his backyard rusting away - his wife blew the engine in it 20 or so years ago but it would be a very nostalgic restoration. He will not even consider my having it since we do no speak regularly since I would not let him borrow a substantial amount of money - more family issues as we all have!
