Zoltan
Happy New Years! (2021) New model. It will be HotRod. The color will be from the SEAT LEON III palette - Dakota Red. The engine will be a V8 - from a Ford Torino. Wheels and brakes - will have from Ferrari Italia (Revell), those I have left. All the chromes will go away and be sprayed. I played today. There was enough time, so I composed it. I had to put the chassis together to see how I had to redesign the chassis to look like a model. I have to adjust the wheels so I can put on the car. NOBLNG
This is a nice kit and it looks like a nice plan you have for it. I did have to add some to the back edge of the hood on mine to get the nose to sit far enough forward.
Steve H
Hi Zoltan, I love these trucks, I built one a few years ago. In my opinion, one of the nicest front grills of any car or truck ever. Look forward to seeing this come together. Steve
Zoltan
Thanks. The old chassis and The new chassis. Car after adjustment. I can't release the car below because there are big wheels. The car is now 5 mm lower. The engine is almost in place, but I have to playing with 2 mm.

larmcmains
Very nice start to a build. Unique to see Ford power in a Chevy, usually it is the other way around, but I like this. Kit, that is one beautiful truck. I have the same one in my stash, I plan to build a low buck driver in the vein of my dad's 1:1 46 Ford truck. Zoltan
We here in the EU are just looking at the fact that there is a small gate in the US to build custom cars.

First of all, great build! I will be following! Here in Sweden we have quite generous laws towards custom cars. You can build your on chassis, with your own design. Slap a fiberglass body resemble an old car and then it can be registrered as a new but old car and does not need to be inspected ever again! We also can take a junk body without papers and build it up with parts and register it as an built up car. LS sWaps are also common.
Zoltan
Hi everybody, the process of sculpture is still going on. I cut the floor in the cabin, made place for the transmission. I finally put it together. This is a first look. ... and here is a Ford "Cobra" engine
mchook
I love it! A Ford heart in a Chevy truck, perfect. 👍

Zoltan
I think this is the next step I managed to solve. I tried to do the least damage. ...placed on a car... only the fender has to be solved ...and now I can return to the chassis.
TarheelRick
Really a fine looking build, also love the idea of a "real motor" being used. One suggestion for the bed inner fenders is to use the front inner fenders from an older late model chassis. They could be cut to fit - at least I think they would work. NOBLNG
It’s coming along nicely Zoltan. Heres an idea for wheel tubs I just ran across. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/155246-wheel-tubs/ Edited April 11, 2021 by NOBLNG

Zoltan
Thanks for the suggestion. Everything needs to be put in place and take shape.
