mustang1989
This last year all started with my Maverick build (which dang near killed me.lol) I ran into a couple of snags with it that caused me to have diversion builds in order to back up and regroup. 2-3 builds a year is pretty typical out of me as I move really slow with em. My 1/25 Jo-Han Maverick: This one being the one that I spent the most time on this last year and is therefore my favorite....I'll shoot another couple of shots up here: My Revell 1/25 Ram Air T/A And my Ryefiled 1/35 scale Wermacht Beetle: and one more of this car. Despite its small scale, it was packed with detail already and then just for fun I added a few extra. Aside from the shortcomings of the kit and all the challenges this kit presented for me....it is now my favorite build. 42 minutes ago, 89AKurt said: When I saw your Beetle, snagged a kit. Thank you Chris, Roger and Tony! I really appreciate you guys stopping in and commenting. Tony: I used Badger's Stynylrez Gray Primer for the gray portion and Stynylrez Black Primer for the Black portion. After that I used a Prismacolor Silver lead pencil and drug it lightly across the raised details.

I had never used them until this last year but I've gotta say that right out of the bottle with no diluting that these are some of the smoothest paints/ primers that I've ever shot through my airbrush. Lays down perfect every time. On 1/10/2021 at 8:03 PM, tkzwolf said: Beautiful detail work. Maverick engine is amazing. Thanks Tom!!
