StanGlover
Here are my two builds from the beginning and end of the long running third generation Mustang Fox Body. MPC’s 1979 Mustang Turbo Hatchback and Monogram’s 1992 Mustang GT Convertible. Enjoy!
64Comet404
Looks great! Great job on the '92 taillights.

espo
Great looking Convertible. I always liked the front end on this body style. The Up Top is something you don't get to see very often and the finish here is very realistic looking.

For the “cheese graters,” I painted them body color first, and then I used a silver gel pen in each of the slots. Once that dried, I went back over the red sections with a red gel pen. Yes the up-top came with the kit. It also came with the parade boot if you want to display it top-down.

The top finish is simply Tamiya XF flat acrylic airbrushed on, over a light coat of Tamiya fine gray primer.
