Faust Posted Thursday at 02:15 AM With Christmas truly over, all the decorations long down and the new year proving to be not yet much better than the last, I thought it would be fun to show that it wasn’t all bad news. I thought it might be nice to see that even in the midst of some of the worst times something simple like model kits can bring a lot of people together, even if they can’t be right there. What better way to do that than to show you guys the rather eclectic mix of models that I got for Christmas, and for you to help decide which one you want to get reviewed first. Check out my haul of cars, bikes planes and tanks (oddly, no robots!) at the link below, and let me know which one you like best! https://adamrehorn.wordpress.com/christmas-haul-2020/
PintoKING Posted Thursday at 03:38 AM The Pintera has (as far as I know) just been reissued as the "Pinto Popper". I am pretty sure they are the exact same kit, but with the extra Coca-Cola dispenser.
Motor City Posted Thursday at 03:41 AM Adam, It has to be the '92 Thunderbird SC!
Richard Bartrop Posted Thursday at 09:13 AM I'd have to go with the T-Bird as well. Still the best looking of the modern 'Birds.

iamsuperdan Posted Thursday at 03:07 PM Always thought it was interesting that Revell did a Cougar XR7 kit for 1990, 1991, and 1992. Went through the effort of new packaging, new colours, model year updates, etc. I have the red 1991 version. But my vote is for the Thunderbird. Faust Posted Friday at 01:39 AM I agree, the T-Bird is awesome. I loved those when they came out! Did you guys go and vote on my website? I noticed the T-Bird has a lot of love here, but only two votes on my page, which is where I tally the votes. As for "Pinto Popper", it's the '77 with the Pinterra parts. NOT the same body shell, though. I tried to put the nose on, and there are a LOT of differences. For one thing, the '76 headlight bezels are hexagonal, and the Pinterra nose fits to that. They're squared on the '77. Also, the front "chin" rolls under differently on the '76. It's more vertical on the '77 and the nose won't fit well. 64Comet404 Posted Friday at 01:58 AM The T-Birds and Cougars are great cars. Owned one of each back in the day (non-supercharged, unfortunately), and they would just cruise all day. I have the models, just need to build them.
Faust Posted Friday at 12:13 PM My Grandfather had an '85 Cougar. Just basic, with the 6 and no options, and even it was a nice car! I really like that class of car - shame they still don't make anything like that.
stinkybritches Posted Friday at 10:17 PM I had a '90 Tbird Super Coupe. I loved that car. Unfortunately, just about everything went bad within a 3 month period and I got rid of it.
