ranma Posted January 16 Paint is Krylon short cuts pepper red with gloss black on the lower body. Corrected the muffler's But I need to fix one pipe from the engine to the muffler. The black on the seats was done with fine line sharpies as well as the black on the Rims.
Stef Posted January 16 Hello @ranma, nice execution on this updated classic. Love how you corrected the mufflers; can't wait to get one of these for myself.
Matt Bacon Posted January 16 (edited) Looks great... but shouldn’t you display it sideways on two wheels? ? And if there was ever a kit crying out to be “enhanced” with an appropriate figure set, that’s the one! best, M. TonyK Posted January 17 Real nice. I never liked this particular Mustang but your build took me right back to the movie. Very good looking model.
ranma Posted January 17 (edited) Thanks, all body chrome work was done with Molotow chrome marker, I used it behind both the headlights, and tail lights as well to give it reflectiveness. I found the kit a Hobby Lobby so I bought it as they were 40% off that week. Edited January 17 by ranma

Looks pretty good and at least the grille is back to resembling the 1971 version.
doorsovdoon Posted January 17 That looks really nice. I've always preferred this design, and the Mustang II way more than the 60's offerings.
