minkos
1967 Chevrolet Impala 4 Door in Madeira Maroon. This is a tribute to an actual car that a friend's family bought new and owned for about 50 years. It wasn't too difficult to "un-supernatural" it, but I had a hell of a time with the ride height. The stock hubcaps, which don't come with the supernatural kit, are resin and is my first (and somewhat dubious) attempt with allclad!

doorsovdoon
Looks amazing! Is it me or are the front wheel arches way too big and out of proportion? I thought the same thing when I was building my '67 Impala.

AMT68
Excellent build in one of the nice colors from that year. Didn't realize resin wheel covers were available for the full size '67 Chevy.
carrucha
Good job converting the kit to factory stock.
charlie8575
What did you end up doing to achieve the correct stock ride height? I'm half-tempted to build mine with a 6/'Glide just to watch eyes go cartoon pinwheel as their brains try to figure out if they're seeing what they're seeing. hedotwo
Great build Mark! Love the color choice and the stock touches. Like you, I'm mid way through a Supernatural build to represent our family car. I have the Model Car Garage PE set and was able to pick up non-SS wheel covers from the annual kit. I had the resins but they scaled out to 16.5" and just looked too big. The kit covers scale out to 15.5". Also like you, I'm going to deal with the front ride height by relocating the spindles. Again, nice build Mark. Good to see these stock conversions. Edited January 18, 2021 by hedotwo

Phil Hotchkin
The only difference my car had was the black vinyl top. 283 powerglide.
