'56 Chevy lowrider

Recommended Posts

I built this from the Revell kit. I lowered the suspension over eBay wheels and Pegesus tires. I modified the continental kit from a '55 and skirts from a '57. I used Duplicolor paint. Everything else came out of the box.

That's cool Andrew! You don't see many '56 Chevies built as lowriders. This works!

What a color! It would be worth it to show this beautiful blue in the sun. Great!

As Roger said dont see many Lowrider 56's built, good to see something different.

Looks great with the continental, side skirts and 2 tone . Classic build, nicely done.

Awesome looking build,  ‘56 is my favorite of the tri fives , and I’ve owned 5 real 57 chevys! But 56 is my favorite, as a low rider is just a plus for me !!

Great looking low ridder. The little continental kit that GM offered isn't often seen on the tri fives you see built here. As so many others mentioned, I also a big fan of the '56 year model. My family had a '56 210 more door way back when.

Very cool! My favorite of the three years since it always seemed to be the forgotten year!  Back in 1976-79 I owned a two door sedan with six / power glide.  Little ole lady car, she sold it because she could no longer handle the heavy manual steering.

I too like the ‘56 best. My dad had one, but I was too young to remember him driving it. You’ve done an excellent job on this one Andrew....I love It!

Cool build.  The continental kit and fender skirts really set it off.  Nice stance.
