'56 Chevy lowrider

I built this from the Revell kit. I lowered the suspension over eBay wheels and Pegesus tires. I modified the continental kit from a '55 and skirts from a '57. I used Duplicolor paint. Everything else came out of the box.

Great looking low ridder. The little continental kit that GM offered isn't often seen on the tri fives you see built here. As so many others mentioned, I also a big fan of the '56 year model. My family had a '56 210 more door way back when.

Very cool! My favorite of the three years since it always seemed to be the forgotten year!  Back in 1976-79 I owned a two door sedan with six / power glide.  Little ole lady car, she sold it because she could no longer handle the heavy manual steering.
