Claude Thibodeau
HI! Raiding your stash with a caliper may ascertain all kinds of mash-up possibilities. Case in point? MADLINER - an AMT 60 Starliner, with the Alternomad greenhouse! Chopped (a scale 4 inches) Alternomad top & glasses, scratchbuilt interior panels & rear compartment, Revell's Ferrari Enzo rolling stock, Foose F100 powertrain, inverted hood hinge system, custom exhaust, shaved upper chrome moldings, Metalflake's Candy Cherry over silver base, Testor's Wetlook clear. Fully polished. BMF & Molotow chrome. Wired & hosed. Hours of fun with styrene! CT

espo
Beautiful looking body work and paint. you have a very smooth transition between the roof and were it blends into the tailgate and the windshield. I like hoe you changed the hood hinges as well.

Since I finished it, I saw a brochure of the "standard" station-wagon that Ford offered on the Starliner platform. It looks similar, with a more rounded "bubble" rear window. I read somewhere that the era customizers often used that OEM rear window as a custom windshield on some show-car creations... But of course, the OEM car was a 4 doors. And the windshield was much less raked than on the Alternomad... The joys of kit bashing! CT

After 2 or 3 even coats of the candy cherry, it looked fine, but much more "pinkish", or magenta. So, I piled on 6 coats total. Under the sun, it really pops! BlackSheep214
That is one bad girl you created. Very pleasing to the eyes and very attractive. Better than those crazy ricers with tabletop sized spoilers on the trunk lid. Well done!

Plus, once open, you don't have the "slots" on the cowl. Matter of taste, I guess... The rear window was virtually a shoe-in on the Starliner rear trunk edge panel. Lucky me! I don't care much myself for the "tuner cars", but I can see that younger guys would like to model them. If there are younger guys in this hobby, of course... AmericanMuscleFan
Another superb creation from you Claude! Forced to admit that you are rewriting the theory that says "nothing is lost and nothing is created".  In this wonderful world of scale models, you prove that "nothing is lost but everything can be created" when you have a vivid imagination!  In addition, it produces a training phenomenon because the remains of a model become the start of another project. You may have invented perpetual motion my friend, in any case, you have all my admiration! By the way, the color is absolutely stunning and you give me some great ideas for my own project... 😊
