FLHCAHZ Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 This is the first model I have done in many years. I’m proud of the way it turned out. I’m trying to broaden my skills, and constructive feedback is welcome. Thanks for looking!
Painted Black Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Really turned out nice, like the blacked out trim.
Steamboat Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Nice job, the paint looks beautiful and nice work on painting those very difficult wheels. On your next one, be wary of the mold parting line at the C-pillar (and A-pillar) that most car models have. You can see how the top of the fender is not straight. Take a little extra time and sand and fill those areas. Otherwise it looks great.

I did my best, hopefully I’ll finish that one up tonight or tomorrow
espo Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Very nice paint job and the body trim is very cleanly done. One area that you might consider next time is in the engine compartment. Look at some photos of the engine area of a 1:1 car of your next build. Little spots of color that match the under hood area of the 1:1 will bring this area alive and it's easy to do.
