So, the theme (in my head, at least) for this build was something a high school gear head would have tooled around in in the mid-70s to early 80s. I have the inline 6 dogeared for the Nova wagon sometime in the future. I pulled the 421 and wheels from a ‘65 GTO kit that was all but destroyed during shipping. Just a fun little change of pace build. Paint is Dupli-color Stone White and Tamiya TS-35 Park Green with Wet Look clear.

Nicely done! I like the Pontiac engine! My dad had that era Chevy pickup with an Olds 394 in it for a short time back in the early 70's. That sort of swap was certainly done back then.

Hi Chris, this is a perfect example of your build vision. Wheel choice is spot on for that era. One of my best friends dad had a Ford with turbine wheels just like that. Well executed! Some turbines had a grey colour between the “spokes”, some were polished as I recall.
