Ferrari 246 GT Dino - Fujimi - 1/24

Started building the parts of the engine, chassis and axles.

Then primed and painted with auto base coat.

Metallic parts were first painted black then metal.

This engine must have about 20 pieces to it.

Awesome! ... I will definitely be following this since I have the same model only it’s a cabriolet and it’s the enthusiast series. Looking to build it in the not too distant future.

Oh, very cool! I'm definitely watching this one. I love the little Dino.

I've made three attempts to buy this kit, including bring straight-up ripped off by an ebay seller, but so far I haven't landed one. Currently have one on back-order at HobbyLink Japan, so fingers crossed.

Let's see how this kit builds. Never built a Fujimi before.

Did some engine detailing.

Got these nice accessories:

added larger wire sleeves on the distribuir

The red wire fits nicely

On the other end I added a red sleeve. Also from a larger gauge wire

Sanded the mold lines

Got it off

All the covers fit nicely. The whole body was sanded down to 1000 grit. I find this way best for primer anchoring.

Tricky part. Stick it and covered the gap with superglue.
