Chuckyg1
Great thread. I think it best to limit my jewels to five, so here's seven in no particular order.

Watertown
My completed models found least embarrassing to moi. (which is my sole criteria for "crown jewel" designation.) Edited April 15, 2021 by Watertown

iamsuperdan
Crown jewels? I'm not sure about that, but these two have the most meaning for me. AMT Matador, and what I believe is a Monogram 911 Carrera RS. These are the only two car kits I recall my dad ever building. And now they're in my collection. As for my own stuff, I'm pretty happy with how these turned out.
John M.
I've tried to upload images of my builds but no such luck. My computer seems a bit cranky. However, every one of your respective builds look great and thanks for sharing them.

JS23U
Thanks guys! This one started about 15 years ago as a built up NASCAR kit. I managed to round up resin and styrene replacement parts like interior and front bumper. The running gear is from the Revell Torino. After attending a GSL show, I camped near Goblin Valley State Park, hiked through a slot canyon, saw one rock that is the perfect scale version of "slick rock", found some similar ones, packed it home, almost forgot about it. When I found it, used up a diamond hacksaw blade cutting the rock in half. The kit is fairly common, not a street rod, sorry. It has won several first place awards. A VehiCross!? I don't think I've ever seen one of these built, and I don't remember the convertible version. In any event, this is really awesome.
