what kit's from mpc has the snow/mud tires included

Looking for info on what mpc kit's came with the extra snow/mud tires. I am asking because I want to use those to replace the Non 4X4 tires that are in the GMC Jimmy kit. I have one or two of them here but would require another set of two or three tires to go on the GMC Jimmy .

I'm talking about the Extra tires that were issued in kit's like the 68/69 Chevy pickup's (fire/tow truck) kit's that also had the stock bed in with them. Not sure that the recent reissue of the '78 Dodge pickup or the soon reissue of the racer's wedge chevy pickup kit's inclue a  pair of those tires

The WWII jeep has the Goodyear Suburbans, but I'd recommend the Fireball resin snow tires.

What I can recall is that the Jeep kits had the Goodyears. I think there was a set of them in the Pontiac kit that had the ski equipment.

The MPC Chevy pick ups had an odd ball tire that had straight cleats across them and didn't look like a snow tire.

You might be better off going with after market sources.

Not many annual kits had them: Jeepster/Commando (some, but not all), Pontiac Grand Prix ('69-'70), AMC Pacers.  Beyond that, some Jeep kits.  I don't recall any Chevy pickup kit with them.

From the Revell GMC plow truck and the Jeep Honcho kit(same tires) 4 of; .70idx1.2od.

From the Revell early bronco, 4 of; .57idx1.125od.

From the AMT crew chief blazer, 4 of; .61idx1.21od.

From the Revell Jeep Rubicon, 4 of; .625idx1.39od.

And from the MPC Commando, 4 of; .77idx1.56od.

The Good Year Suburbanite tires are tiny. I have a few of them and they look small even on a 2wd pickup. They will surely look small on a 4wd Blazer.

These are the three I have, and they fit the "drag" rims very nice. I have to find two more as I'll need one to be a spare for the Jimmy!

Good luck Rick. You may be better off ordering some. I know Scenes Unlimited makes some nice ones. And remember, on a 4x4.....bigger is better!🤪

1969 MPC chevy p/u had 4

Those are the one's I have! I built that van when it was reissued, and saved the tires. Now just need two more for my '72 Jimmy project.

These look like the old Gates Commandos, from the AMT Blazer. I might have some floating around here. I can look, if you'd like. Unless someone's already helped you out, in the future (farther down the thread!).
