Kodiak Island Modeler
This 1968 Chevrolet Impala was a tribute to a car that I once owned.

roadkill
G'day, nice work on this one, but I was wondering if you could tell me what brand was this , as I had a '68 4 dr pillarless Impala and would so love to get my shrivelled old claws on one to build in the colour of my old car. Thanking you in advance. Kind regards, Michael Pederick, Perth, Western Australia. (aka Roadkill)
Kodiak Island Modeler
This is a kit bash. I started with the Supernatural 1967 Impala, and a 1968 Resin Impala hardtop that I've had sitting around. I used the grills & bumpers from the 68 kit to the 1967 kit. I also did some modifications to the 1967 body to make it into the 68 four door sedan. I'm sure that at some point, I'm going to finally get around to building that resin 68 and wish that I still had the parts that I used from it. drodg
Wow very impressive. I was thinking I had never seen a four door Impala body for 68.
TonyK
I like this. My parents had a '68 impala but it was a 2 door but still close to what you've built. I like figures but don't recognize these. Where did you get them? Thanks.

The female came from a company in Japan or possibly China. Somebody told me that the line of figures that she came from can now be found on the ebay. Tom Geiger
Very cool! My first thought when seeing the '67 was that someone would create a 68 or 69 4 door from that body! I need a 69 sedan to replicate a car my buddy once owned during an important summer when I got out of high school!
espo
Very well done body conversion. I also like the color as well as the paint finish.
