Ford C-600 Series Truck Reference Pics & Info

Recommended Posts

One of my favorite kits, with plenty of build potential. Easily back dated '57 thru '73. '74 thru '90 used wider fenders. Here is a version rarely seen, special order CT series. I heard these were built as single axle trucks at the Ford assembly plant and driven to Hendrickson for the tandem conversion. This one begs for a heavy duty trash compactor. body

They are both converted for use as RVs, recreational vehicles. One has a boat stowed in its belly, too. Link: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1246302572058255&set=a.507867905901729.115896.100000355710619&type=3&theater

Man, that does it for me. New project #9,789. I have enough stuff to build the transporter, just need to get a Cobra or 3.   :D

Custom Cab interior for  early '70's AMT kit. Note the white steering wheel still being used. Ford went to black wheels for all cabs around 1977.

Is that what AMT had planned to make a kit of?

Not the exact packer body shown, but close to it...probably a bit newer:
