carsntrucks4you Posted May 23, 2021 Author Share Posted May 23, 2021 This car is based on a Opel Diplomat B and was designed by Erich Bitter in collaboration with Opel and coach builder Baur. The Bitter CD was first show in 1973 at Frankfurt International Automobil Ausstellung. It was powered by a Chevrolet 5.4 l V8 with 230 HP which also came from the Opel Diplomat. It was build from 1973 - 1979. With the end of the Opel Diplomat production in 1977 parts availability leads to the end of the Bitter CD production in 1979. 395 cars were sold.
