Oldcarfan27
Classy! You need to add the first two pics to the "Glue Bombs" thread over in General Automotive Talk. If that isn't a great save from a glue bomb, I don't know what is.

tim boyd
On 5/17/2021 at 8:32 PM, pack rat said: Awhile back I picked up a really nasty-looking '62 Ford pickup from a buddy. I figured I could possibly use it for parts; and the price was right (basically free). I was looking at it a couple of months ago thinking it might be fun to see if I could make something decent out of it. After a bunch of body work (way too much) and a few bits from the parts stash it's not a showpiece, but it looks OK on the shelf. Paint is Tamiya TS-26 Pure White and TS-15 Blue (looks pretty close to the factory Corinthian White/Academy Blue). Mike and all the rest....I've finally started working (as of last month) on my own unibody Ford pickup. It's a nicely rescued (by someone else/eBay seller) starting point. Body has now been thoroughly massaged and cleaned up. Missing vent window post replaced. Frame and floorboard are planned from the Moebius 1960's Ford pickup series. Engine may be the Roush FE from the Foose F-100 kit. This model has been planned since the late 1970's....about time I got busy on it. Thanks to you Mike and others that posted on this thread! TIM . misterNNL
These restorable models are available on the vendor's tables at most toy shows if we keep our eyes open. A lot are priced at no more than current new kits so I always do some digging around for styrene treasure.
