Where di you find the skoda? and is it 1/24? I've only got the recent belkits rally car though I have been thinking about a resin 110

Actually not 1/24 scale, I started with a very simple and toylike kit in 1/28 scale, by Smer.....

Plus seven various Meyers Manx.

Hi Patrick!

Nice VW's, all of them! I am impressed by the orange Manx, with Rockstar stickers on the side and a board on top... The "altitude adjustment" looks very nice to my eye.

Gotta be carefull with the tires rubbing against the body, however...

Hi Claude thanks for your comments, my son's real Beetle is the black one we re-built from the ground up. The Orange Manx has the tops of the wings cut out to let the air out at top speed, having been to Le Mans seeing the top class sports car teams using that method to stop the air pressure under the wings at speed to stop them taking off, not that the Manx would! Another view below. The decals are home printed as is the surfboard home made from a plaster cast.

Oh and just finishing this off..

HI Patrick!

Thanks for the infos... Those are notions in aerodynamics that I will try to put to good use in one of my upcoming Bonneville cars. I ignored that. One learns things everyday, as they say!

There are a LOT more in the stash and on the bench right now.

Love that B4 Audi 80! Where did you get that from? I had one in the same colour up until a few years ago, what an awesome car. Nice build there by the way!

I think that was a Fujima kit. Probably one of the first builds I did when I got back into the hobby 10 years ago or so. Couldn't tell you where I found it! It builds up okay. Would like to find another and do a better job this time.

Finished a long stalled build thanks to a recent B.O.Y.D. thread. It’s the first completion from a large selection of Porsche kits in the stash. Learned a lot about body detail painting, especially the black trim, so hoping to accomplish a better finish by airbrushing rather than the ole brush method.
Cheers Misha

There are some really fantastic builds here!

Here's my set of Volksies.

First is Revell's VW Bus which I built in 2010.

Next is the Meyers Manx built in 2012. I just realized that I never posted a thread for this on on the MCM forum, maybe I should do that.

Here is Revell's 1968 Beetle which I finished in 2018. Just to be different, I decided to make use of Revell's option to build it as a right-hand driver. I made some 1968 era New South Wales number plates and an "AUS" bumper badge.

And finally, finished in 2020, the LuftWagen! The decals are from a WWII era Junkers Ju 87 and the engine is from a Focke_Wulf Ta 154 Moskito, also WWII era, and the nose is from a 1937 Cord. Obviously, this build is not meant to be taken too seriously.

Thanks for taking a look.
