hedotwo
Work finished on trying to recreate some of the tailgate features from the 59 and my attempt at making a passable wagon rear bumper from the HT's . I decided to leave the Plymouth script where it was on the 60 tailgate. A bit of Bondo Getting close to the finsh line

hedotwo
Wrapping this up to the point where I felt it was a decent enough replica of his 59. Made side trim from two sizes of round and half round stock taking care to try and keep everything somewhat level and straight, but the two sides came out not identical to each other yet close enough I guess. Needed to sand the trim after this to get them from standing out too much. Made up four door handles from flat and half round stock Needed to take a small section from the chassis to get the wheelbase right Finally into Tamiya gray primer Base color coat of Folk Art Succulent acrylic That wraps it up. I'll post a few pics of the finished build after all paint and assembly in the Under Glass section Thanks for following and the comments. Frustrating at times but I'm glad I did it.
