junkyardjeff
I picked this one up today and since the tires are missing I would like to make it more stock and possibly 2 wheel drive so did Revell make this in a stock version where I can rob parts from. SCRWDRVR
They did make more stock versions originally but they are not easy to come buy, I’ve been looking for a back seat for one myself, they do still make a pick up version that can be used as a donor though Edited June 20, 2021 by SCRWDRVR
junkyardjeff
I will see if I can find a built one for parts and go on the back burner for awhile.
Oldcarfan27
The recent "Snow Plow" issue has pretty much everything you need for a stock'ish 4x4 conversion (except the roof cap and the seats). I'm not sure if 2wd was even available after 1977. Use the suspension, wheels, tires, hood, bumpers and mirrors. Engine parts are best rounded up somewhere else, unless you like 60's fuel injected Corvette engines attached to a 4 wheel drive transfer case. Why oh why can't Revell just fix this one back to the way it used to be?
junkyardjeff
Did some digging and I do have tires and a stock 4x4 suspension but need one rim and need to find the rear roof and a front bumper and hood.
Fabrux
The roof and rear seat are rather tricky to get a hold of these days. Also, here's a kit history article I wrote (and originally posted here): https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/monogram_squarebody
