1964 Impala
My most resent completion is a tribute to the 1961 Impala Dan Gurney raced in Britain. I left the numbers off of this car but did go for the white steel wheels. As with all of my completed models I convert them to slot cars but with full interior and engine left in place. This allows me to see the cars in action! Here are some shots of the car as well as a photo of the real car for reference. Thanks, TR
Phildaupho
I always like seeing cars Dan Gurney raced and this is one of the more unusual. It would be great to see it negotiating at slot-car track.
Foghorn Leghorn
Found a couple youtube films of this car a few months ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkwmeYx1xr4 https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/a23007587/dan-gurney-chevy-impala/
bill-e-boy
I bet the corner handling with those vinyl tires would be a lot of fun A nice build too
TooOld
Very cool build of one of Gurney's lesser known race cars ! Love that you have it set up to race on your slot car track !

1964 Impala
Thanks all for the high praise, it is much appreciated. I thought I’d post a video of the Impala on my track for the full effect. Hopefully this works. Thanks, TR IMG_0015.MOV
