monza77
Is it just my kit or is the tread area of the slick so sunken that I am l am leery of sanding it flush for losing some of the piecrust edging. Still, a very nice kit. I also have 12 or so Accurate Minatures and Revell Grand Sport kits with tires exhibiting the same shrinkage. Any suggestions for a period correct tire for these? Odd omission but I can grab one from my parts bin. I suspect, but don’t know for certain, that this era of slingshot didn’t always run them…the 1:1 car didn’t have one originally: Edited December 6, 2021 by CabDriver
TonyK
I thought that might be the case. Thanks for the picture showing no parachute. Well, thanks for the other picture too. LOL
bobthehobbyguy
I just got 2 of the new mooneyes dragster kits. Will be clearing the bench and doing something with one of the kits, looking to add a t body and hemi engine to build the t version of the drag car as several mooneyes dragsters are bring done. Same here. I have a couple glue bomb AMT '25 T roadsters and this would seem to be a good use for a harvested body.
