Dragonhawk1066
Here's the Revell Greased Lightning 1948 Ford convertible. Nothing really special here, just a box stock--box art build. I don't build very many oldies, but I decided I needed to change things up a little from my usual 60's and 70's Muscle Cars, and it's one of my wife's favorite movies so onto the bench it went. The paint is Rustoleum Gloss White, wet sanded and polished with no clear. The chassis and interior are Rustoleum Satin Canyon Black, and the trim is done with BMF. This was a really nice kit and was supposed to be a fun little build. Unfortunately, it fought me at every step and nothing seemed to go right. It's like it was cursed or something, lol. I even managed to get the clock and speedo gauges reversed, and right after I finished the decals, I knocked a container that had a few alligator clips off a shelf and one landed on the hood and took off a piece of the decal. Anyways, it's done and the wife thinks it's cool so that's all that matters, lol. Thanks for looking!
