bonehead23
I knew this one existed, it is a copy of the Street Freak AWB Nova, with a Tempest body. Just too cool. I searched for years to find one, and when i saw a photo of it on the side of a Model King box, I KNEW I would eventually get one. I found it on line and immediately replaced the big block Chevy with a Revell parts pack 421SD...I had the decals long before the car, you could say I built the car around the decals!!! Snake45
Very nice! You captured the look and feel of these things pretty well. Model on! BTW, this kit is not SUPER-rare. There are several on eBay right now, and a half dozen or more of them have sold within the last 90 days for $40 or less--pretty good price for something OOP. AFAK the molds still exist so it could be reissued again at some point.

paul alflen
The stock chassis and interior are on the steel tooling tree for the AFX Tempest. Now let's lobby Round 2 for a re-tooled stock body 1963 Tempest conv/ ht , just like they did with the 64 Cutlass Kit.
