Bills72sj
I am building a 70 Pro Street El Camino. The big meats need a decently sized pumpkin between the wheelie bars. My parts box Chevy 12 bolt looks too wimpy. The semi truck rear ends I have are way too large. Does anyone know which kits have a Dana 60 or a 1/24 Ford 9-inch rear? Painted Black
If you choose to go aftermarket; http://www.b-n-lresins.com/shoppingopencart/Aftermarket-resin-cast-1-24-1-25-scale-model-drive-train-brake-rotors-transfer-case-transmission-rear-ends/Aftermarket-resin-cast-1-24-1-25-scale-model-drive-train-rear-ends-custom-unique-Dodge-Ford-Dana-Chevy* * Most nascar kits have a good 9", in 1/24 .Monograms Talledaga has a 9".. StevenGuthmiller
Just getting ready to put a Dana 60 in my '68 Dodge Hemi Coronet build. It comes from the Revell '68 Charger kit. Steve
High octane
The Dana rear end can also be found in JoHan's Sox & Martin Cuda kit as well.
Mark
The Revell '68 Hemi Dart kit has a good one. You can still build the Dart as the stock version, as it also includes an 8-3/4" axle. The Jo-Han Sox & Martin 'Cuda unit (also included in their SC/Rambler kit) isn't quite as good, as it includes the removable "chunk" (gear carrier) from their 8-3/4" axle as included in the Chrysler Turbine Car and their early Logghe chassis funny car kits. The Jo-Han inspection cover and the rest of the axle do look good however.
