carbuilder1950
Would this custom truck go here, or in trucks??? Edited October 1, 2021 by carbuilder1950
1930fordpickup
This is cool, but I think it should be in the Truck section.

Smoke Wagon
I really like the roof chop, it gives the truck a lot of attitude, not to mention that party going on behind the sleeper! Amazing build

1959scudetto
Wild truck here, David - is it for the strip or for the road? Anyway, equally impressive load on the trailer...

Anyway, equally impressive load on the trailer... @1959scudetto The cab and trailer both have air ride suspension built into the 2 chassis. Mainly built for salt flat runs with those 2 supercharged and turbo charged Allison's behind the cab, but I built it to be a drag truck, or for show also, or something to have fun with on the street when the air bags are filled. Nothing but my crazy imagination run amok. Sometimes I don't know when to stop a project, and this one sorta got otta hand 😵. Forgive me, if it's a bit too much. The main color is called "Southern Bell yellow pearl." How do you pass up a name like that?? Some things ya just gotta do. Love it. Dave

carbuilder1950
This took me a year to build. Sometimes when I start a project with no direction, it gets out of control. But in this case that was OK. I'll post a few construction pics, but I won't bore you with too many. TarheelRick
This is just too much eye candy for these old tired eyes to comprehend. Awesome build from the front bumper to the trailer taillights and everything in between. You sir have an out of control imagination and I like it.
Nacho Z
What an amazing build!!! There is almost too much to take in but it all flows and ties in together so nicely. I envy guys like you that have such a creative touch. I just don't have that. And then to execute the vision in your mind's eye......wow!
carbuilder1950
A few more construx pics. In some of the last pics, I machined an axle for the Car Hauler, and also machined 2 V-shaped wheel connectors that were pinned to each side of the axle, but could be free to move, as the trailer went over uneven roads, and other obstacles.
