Been coming here for everything from painting tips to scratch building tutorials and the wealth of knowledge has been tremendously helpful. Made my first model car in March while looking for a covid hobby to keep me busy and I’ve been hooked ever since. Here’s my most recent build…a 67 GTX by Revell. Had ourselves a nice little photo shoot by the east river. She’d look way worse if it wasn’t for this forum so thanks again! peteski Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 What impressed me on this model is that you smoothed out the seam on top of the transmission housing and on the bell. Once the engine is installed, nobody will see that area, but this kind of attention to detail shows that you are a good and fastidious modeler. I took them on the east side of Manhattan. Right around 23rd street and the east river. Queens would probably have been a better idea - I could have gotten the skyline! That will also save storage space of the forum. First start the new thread in Under Glass, then open up another tab (assuming you are using a tabbed browser), then go to the forum's website, (you should already be logged in), then left-click on your user name (upper left cornet), then in that menu, select "my attachments". I actually just uploaded everything from my phone because that’s where all my pics were, but I’ll keep that in mind next time for sure. Appreciate the help.
