Today the manufacturer of this truck builds to cars and is part of the VW company. The pictures shows a truck that was used in former GDR. carsntrucks4you Posted November 1, 2021 Author Share Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) The Škoda 706 RT was build from 1954 - 1979 by the Czech truck manufacturer Liaz. It was developed out of the conventional model Škoda 706 R. Powered by a 6 cylinder Škoda engine with 11.68l nd 160 hp. The cab was installed fix so the the engine could be reach through several openings.
