Kool Kat
I have not built anything 4x4 since the early eighties when monster trucks were all the rage, must have built 20 or more! So while looking over the selection at HL I came across this Bronco, what the hey, it's time to go off road. Just not stock!! Here is a mock-up of where I want to go, looks like I'll need a small body lift kit, maybe some blocks under the suspension. And NO small block!!! Stay tuned. Bob, tires are American Satco, and the wheels are from a Monogram El Camino. 13 minutes ago, NOBLNG said: Sounds like a good plan to me! mikemodeler
Body lift and suspension lift are available from Fireball Modelworks. Joseph has some cool accessories for this Bronco kit, as does Olson Brothers. I'll be following this one!

Kool Kat
I got this far on the kit engine when I decided it was not going to work for me.. So I dug around and came up with a 427 from a T-bolt, all it needed was a rear sump oil pan, so I made one. still a little rough but getting there, Fills the engine bay real nice, eh? So, until the next update. KK
NOBLNG
Nice! That ride height looks about right to me. Thats a lot of engine for that little truck, but hey, it just a fantasy right. 👍 Edited October 25, 2021 by NOBLNG

Thanks Mark, will do. Here is a small update, fitting the FE in place. I'll be putting this one to the rear of the build order, I want to finish my 34, and it's that time of year when model building times gets hit pretty hard, next years firewood to cut, and another million chores to do before winter.
