gseeds
Here’s something I’ve been working on , two of my favorite box art cars, as a kid I would look at the art on these boxes at the local TG&Y and my head would fill with all kinds of images of loud ground shaking dragsters , ,gassers and funny cars just on the fringe of being out of control ! , I’ve always wanted to build some kind of diorama to give my models some kind of life or movement, I’m not a diorama builder and this would be my first, I may ad more as time goes by, I would really like to ad a grand stand with people, but for now this is it, the two cars are the Miss Deal funny car and the Revellion two of my favorite revell drag racing subjects with their box art. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to try and take good pictures of it, so after taking a bunch of pictures both inside and outside I decided these are about as good as I was gonna get. Zippi
Boy that looks so kewl. Great job. The driver in the trunk area of that Dodge looks wild. I think a night time shot with flames coming out of the headers would look kewl.

DRIPTROIT 71
I usually don’t like the cotton representing smoke on a model, but you made this one look convincing. Great job on everything! Looks great!

Great job on everything! Looks great! Thanks Driptroit71 , that’s not cotton but a pillow stuffing, I did try cotton at first but my buddy Ken Hamilton suggested I try using pillow stuffing, looked a lot nicer!! Thanks Ken!! Thanks Chris, I really don’t remember where I picked up those drivers, I’ve had them for years in the parts box, I kinda think the driver in the gold car may a 1970’s Mpc Funny Car driver.
