cobraman
Been working on this for awhile but I have two other Cobras I am also working on . Waiting on parts for all of them but this one will most likely the first one to get finished . I have seat harnesses coming as well as a pre wired distributor . Paint is Tamiya Metallic Orange . Just a mock up for now .
4mula1fan
Coming along nicely. The windshield frame fit was a pain in the drain on mine, I recall.
Zippi
That looks pretty good so far Ray.
Rich Chernosky
Ray...I built two of these...well sorta...t he second one is 3/4 done. I solved the windshield fit by using jewelers screws to attach the frame to the body. Look forward to seeing what you do to the engine. Mine is in the details stage. cobraman
Thanks fellows. This will be the third one of these I have built. I have the second but the first was destroyed by a friends child.
BDSchindler
I've tried to find one of these at a reasonable price but gave up on it. Looks great!
tbill
Looking good Ray, beautiful color.
cobraman
Thank you fellows. Brian you may find one on ebay at a good price. I got this one for about 25 bucks if I remember right. It was open but complete with only the engine block glued together.
Dragonhawk1066
Nice start! I've got one of those that I'm waiting until I have a place to display it before I build it. I did build one in the late 80's, but like all the other kits from my younger days, it's occupying a landfill.
cobraman
Now that I finished my shorty Cobra I can get back on this one . Got a lot done but still away to go .

bobthehobbyguy
Love the color. Nice start. The seat belts look great. What what the source for them? I'm surprised you didn't sand the tread on the tires although it looks like you have mounted them so you couldn't do that now.
cobraman
Thanks Bob. I seldom sand the tires on what I build. maybe slicks. The belts I think were Pro Tech.
Codi
I can't wait to see that car pop in the sunlight Ray. Looking forward to your next update. Gorgeous color choice.

Interestingly enough, Ray...I did manage to find one on ebay and rec'd it today. It too was also open, appears complete and also had the engine block glued together.
