GMP440 Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 Let's see those finished Mooneye's Dragsters.
alan barton Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 If you will permit a sleight of hand here, I built this Mooneyes dragster very many years ago with a combination of an original Mooneyes frame kit, an Attempt 1 kit and a Revell Chevy parts pack. The only issue I recall, apart from typical Revell fiddliness, was that the blower was not a very god fit in the frame - the injectors wanted to push the left hand frame rail out a bit. Anyhow, you should be able to produce something similar from the new kit, i suspect. Cheers Alan 3
sflam123 Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 (edited) While I know GMP440's post was intended to showcase the the Atlantis release of the Moneys dragster, which I just received, I thought you would like to see my "senior citizen" build. This one dates back to about 1965 and is the Revell release. Yes, it's dusty and it's certainly not perfect as I wasn't in my teens yet when I built it, but I am very proud of it! I hope my new build turns out as well! Edited November 17, 2021 by sflam123 5
