I use the original future.  I still have enough left for a couple models, then I'll see what will be next.

Need to get back on topic I guess. LOL.

I also use floor polish for my clear coat, but I'm using the new name stuff. I apply it with a sponge brush.

Ok!  Time for an update. I’ve got most of the chassis finished, but still struggling a little with the rear shocksABA31664-CFE0-4C08-AC44-5B17F8B95426.jpeg.c0cb546893cdaa55bdabb15d4d92f1c6.jpeg

And got some color on the bodyA1175B5E-0BAB-4738-B400-1DC1289AC04F.jpeg.848c051fa97d2cd3b8711374af7ca206.jpeg

I am going with a white interior, so I masked the headliner the best I could   I did get some minimal overspray, but nothing I can’t fix easy enough

comments welcome

So I worked my wrinkled sheet of BMF.  This stuff can really humble ya!  I am going with show and go with this kit, I was not confident in my abilities to foil the window trim.  Looking back I should have scribed the lined to make it easier

Then I airbrushed a couple coats of future to seal it all up and give it some shine

I always seem to notice all the bad spots only after I clear it. This will wax up nicely. Not perfect, but I am happy with the results. Comments welcomed

Excellent work on this one Chaz. I love the color and the chrome treatment you did really sets it apart.

It looks like this is a pretty quick build. I have one in my stash I've been itching to get to but I currently have too many projects going on.

Thanks David.  It is a pretty quick build.  I'd bet that you would spend some extra time and take it to the next level!
