Mopar - D
I’m going to take the reissued KW Challenge Mixer and put it on the Autocar DC-9964B. Looking like it’s going to be a easy switch so far. I will see how it goes as I get building it. I’m still trying to decide on what my colors are going to be. What ever I do choose for this one will determine the colors for the other mixers I have in my stash. Maybe this company will be Super Bee Transit Mixing. More to come. I’ve used a white primer for going under the sublime green. Added the hydraulic pump on the front of the truck.

Your giving Round 2 ideas for a future release! Thanks Tommy, Round 2 should do it the mixer fits on the Autocar with very minor modifications. I’m sure they could also use the dump body on the KW to. I already have different plans for mine.

Mopar - D
I’ve been able to spend a little time on this build adding some details on the frame and painted the Super Bee Bumble Bee strip on the drum. Next will be to clear coat the truck.

Mopar - D
I’m just about finished with the mixer section and I built the engine for it. The kit does not provide any brackets for storing the extra chutes so I scratch built some and I’ve had to modify the platforms a little bit to because the fenders are not in the same location as the kit. Looks like I could of lengthen the frame about 20 scale inches but the rear axle spacing is bigger than the KW.
