1932 Ford 5W

Painted Black

Recommended Posts

Update: finally decided on an engine, will be a souped up Studebaker... have my final decision on wheels and tires, plain 40 Ford steel wheels, chromed. skinny pie crust slicks for the rear and some small generic fronts. So with wheels/tires picked out I can get started on mounting the rear axle, just a plain ole Banjo..

I like your "dare to be different" engine choice.

I try I really do... Not much to report since I'm having trouble finding some key parts for the Stude engine, I may have to "Frankstein" it with some parts that are close enough. Couple more boxes to go thru, in the mean time, enjoy a couple I did awhile back.

Add me to the list regarding the bare metal paint finish.  I have some doors in my garage that look EXACTLY like that!  This would look amazing in a body shop diorama.

Cheers

Nice hot rods!! Looking forward to seeing more. Perfect patina.... -RRR

Thanks Alan, RRR.

I have not found any of the Stude parts, so I went with what I could find, looks uh OK? Need to build some headers, and some engine mount to get it to sitting right, also need some ideas on air cleaner, I could just go with stacks, but I want something different, if you know what I mean..

Ok you have sold me on the look! I really need to do some research on the process for a patina paint job. I think the cad engine looks like a good fit, I think the traditional fish mouth scoops would be an ok look but I get what you mean about something less ordinary. Something like this would look “right”
