ewetwo
I have a ton of slicks but don't know what a pie crust slick is. an do they have lettering on them?
TarheelRick
To me there were two forms of pie crust slicks in the earlier model kits. The original "Trophy Series" kits had slicks that had the pie crust edge, but the sidewalls were flat. A later version that has been referred to as pie crust slicks have the edges cut in a pie crust pattern, but the sidewalls bulge a bit similar to more modern tires. The original flat sided slicks were very similar to those used on very early (50's - early 60's) rails, the ones that smoked the tires the full 1/4 mile. Which particular style of pie-crusts are you looking for? They have a scalloped pattern on the circumference of the sidewall that looks kinda like the crimping on a pie-crust. ewetwo
Sorry it's taken so long but my spouse has just been diagnosed with B cell Lymphoma. Our AT$T Homebase for internets acts up all the time. These are what I have. I thought I could arrange hem after downloading but I guess not. Pic 7 is a shot of all of them.               Edited January 4 by ewetwo
